Lowlands Sessions, Vol. III

Lowlands Sessions, Vol. III is a twelve-track collection of slow-burn ambient and post-rock instrumentals recorded over a single winter at a converted barn studio outside Groningen. The ensemble layers detuned guitars, modular synths and field recordings of harbour cranes, freight trains and rain on metal roofs into long-form pieces that drift between drone and melody. Released for free download under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike licence, the album invites remixers, filmmakers and game designers to fold the stems into their own work — a stems pack and a making-of session log are mirrored alongside the masters.
